DESCRIPTION:Join Olga and her team from Studio Thimbles to upcycle clothing cut-offs into fashionable cushion covers in this sustainable textile workshop! 👖 ♻️ \nAttendees will leave with a new upcycled cushion cover and skills to help them upcycle other textile scraps. ✨💚🙌.  This is a great workshop for people passionate about sustainability and looking for new ways to upcycle unwanted or unneeded textile items. Beginner sewers are welcome\, however this event is for adults only (18+). \n👉 RSVP: https://events.humanitix.com/sewing-workshop-9ufrkmhp  \n🚗Parking: Parking is available at Subi Carpark located on the corner of Rokeby Rd & Barker Rd. Alternatively\, the studio is only a short walk from the Subiaco train station. \nThis event is part of WMRC’s Textile Trail and (Re)Love Your Stuff campaign and is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority. Find more textile-themed events on the (Re)Love Your Stuff webpage and the WMRC Humanitix page. \n  \nMember council tickets are available to residents from Claremont\, Cottesloe\, Mosman Park\, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge\, Nedlands and residents from other councils. \nTickets are limited and non-refundable. If you cannot make this event\, please let us know at least 1 day in advance. Your ticket will then be given to someone on the waitlist and we will issue a voucher for our upcoming WMRC events if enough notice is given. If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event please call on 9384 6711 and we are happy to assist.
