DESCRIPTION:Join WMRC for our Kids’ Clothing Swap 💃♻️🙌! \nAll you need to do is bring along quality kid’s clothes\, shoes\, and accessories (any style or season) and exchange them for items that are needed instead. 👗✨👠. \n  \n📅 Dates:  Saturday 5th October \n⏳ Length: 9am-11am \n🚩Location: The Grove Library located at 1 Leake St\, Peppermint Grove \n💰 Tickets: Register for your FREE ticket here: https://events.humanitix.com/copy-of-kids-clothing-swap \n❌ Please no toys\, books\, adult clothes or bric-a-brac at this event. \nDrop off your kids’ clothing on the day\, or at the Grove Library during the preceeding week. \nThis event is part of WMRC’s (Re)Love Your Stuff campaign and is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority. Or thought about where to take items that can’t go in any of your household bins? 🤷‍♀️♻️🤷‍♂️ \nFind out at a community tour of your local West Metro Recycling Centre ♻️in Shenton Park! See for yourself how a transfer station operates and the different community recycling services we offer local residents 🧨. \nWhat we’ll cover: \n\nThe history of Perth landfills and waste disposal\nThe purpose of transfer stations in recovery of residual\, green and Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) waste.\nDisposal options for household waste including the recycling and recovery processes for cardboard\, e-waste\, bulk polystyrene\, plastic plant pot\, bicycles\, x-ray\, white goods\, cooking oil\, mattress\, scrap metal recycling\, and more\, and the different local organisations we partner with to make it happen!\nGovernment and industry initiatives that exist so that you can safely dispose of hazardous and problematic household items like paint\, poisons\, pesticides\, flares\, batteries\, fluorescent tubes\, fire extinguishers\, electronic waste and more for free at the Recycling Centre.\n\nBuy tickets here:https://events.humanitix.com/west-metro-recycling-centre-community-tour-75p4wnua \nWear: Fully enclosed footwear 👞\, hat and sunscreen. Bring your own water bottle. \nTour: Your tour involves walking around an active site outdoors 🌞. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Your tour will be followed by time for questions\, a cuppa or coffee and light refreshments. \nThis tour is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Children between the ages of 12-16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. \nBookings are essential as places are limited to 15 people per tour. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! 👩♻️👨 \n  \nTickets are non-refundable. If you cannot make this event\, please let us know at least 1 day in advance.
