DESCRIPTION:Join WMRC on a tour of Returnit and Paraquad Industries and discover what happens to your donated items. You’ll get an exclusive\, behind-the-scenes look at the Containers for Change operation as well as the Opshop\, Book Bazaar\, Industrial Wiper Manufacture\, and other commerical services run by Paraquad .\nWear: Fully enclosed footwear is required. High-vis vest\, safety glasses\, and earplugs will be provided for parts of the tour.\n\nTour format:\n– Tour of Paraquad 10am – 10:45 am– Tour of Return-it 10:45 am -11:15 am– Morning Tea 11:15 am -11:30 am– WMRC waste talk with Q&A session 11:30 am -12 noon\n\n\nWant to know more?\nThis workshop is part of the Reduce\, Reuse\, Recycle; The Ultimate Guide workshop series\, running across the western suburbs in 2025. You can attend individual workshops\, and if you complete all three you will receive a certificate of completion! The workshops are:\n1) Back to Bin Basics2) Beyond the Bin3) Behind the Scenes Tour\n\n\nTerms & Conditions:– This tour is not suitable for anyone under the age of 16 years old.– We ask you to not take photos while on the tour.– Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont\, Cottesloe\, Mosman Park\, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge\, Nedlands and residents from other councils.– Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot make this event\, please let us know in advance.If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event please call on 9384 6711 and we are happy to assist. All ticket sales from this event will be donated to Paraquad.
