DESCRIPTION:🪡 Join Olga and her team from Studio Thimbles to learn how to use visible mending to fix and revive your items! 🧵 This workshop series is designed to teach you some practical mending skills and encourage you to get creative\, and personalise your clothing 👕.❗This is a 3-part workshop series and attendees are expected to attend all workshops ❗ \nThis workshop series runs over three weeks: \n\nMonday 28th April\, 5.30pm-8pm\nMonday 5th May\, 5.30pm-8pm\nMonday 12th May\, 5.30pm-8.30pm\n\nDuring workshop 1 & 2 you will learn: \n\nFundamental skills for hand sewing such as setting up the needle\, tying proper knots and how to start & finish your stitching\nVarious hand-stitching methods that are essential for mending\nHow to do embroidery stitching to add decorative elements to the mending process\nElements of Sashiko stitching\, a traditional Japanese technique that is popular in the world of visible mending\n\nFor workshop 3\, please bring in a personal item to mend. \n  \n🚗Parking: Parking is available at Subi Carpark located on the corner of Rokeby Rd & Barker Rd.
