DESCRIPTION:Join WMRC & The Town of Claremont to celebrate Plastic Free July! 🍯  At this event\, you will hear a waste talk from WMRC’s Waste Education Officer and leave with your own beeswax wrap while feeling inspired to take action 🐝 \nDate: Wednesday 23rd July \nTime: 2pm-3.30pm \nLocation: Bay View Community Centre located at 64 Bay View Terrace\, Claremont \nParking: There is street parking located along Bay View Terrace. Please allow enough time to find parking.\nAlternatively\, the Centre is located near several bus routes and is a short walk from the train station. \nLow-waste morning tea & snacks will be provided🍰. \nTerms & Conditions \nTickets are non-refundable. If you cannot make this event\, please let us know in advance. \nMember council tickets are available to residents from Claremont\, Cottesloe\, Mosman Park\, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge\, Nedlands and residents from other councils. These classes are great for young adults who have left home or are planning to and want to improve their cooking skills. Beginners welcome! \nIn all these classes you will: \n\nLearn important life skills like how to meal plan\, how to sort waste at home\, and how to cook affordable healthy meals.\nGain skills and confidence to cook a range of easy\, healthy\, and vegetarian tasty recipes.\nLearn tips to avoid creating food waste.\nTake home copies of the easy recipes you learn in class.\nEnd the session by eating the delicious lunch or dinner you have prepared!\n\n\nThe Cook More\, Waste Less program is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority. \nTerms & Conditions\nPlease contact WMRC to see if we can support your dietary preferences before booking a workshop.
