The Chair and Council of WMRC is pleased to announce that Stuart Devenish has been appointed to the position of CEO for WMRC.

Stuart Devenish brings prior experience at Local Government CEO and Senior Management levels and was chosen from a strong field of applicants.

Cr Paul Kelly, WMRC Chair said “The selection committee was impressed with Stuart’s style, experience and leadership skills.  He is currently the CEO of the Shire of Collie, has significant senior management experience at other local governments and has run a private consultancy practice.   We are looking forward to working with him on revitalising our operations and activities”.

Mr Devenish said “I am looking forward to building on WMRC’s strong foundations in waste management and customer service and preparing the organisation for a robust future in the changing waste management landscape”.

Mr Devenish will commence with the WMRC in the next few months.
