Kristin Magrit is an independent designer label with a particular interest in the ideology of slow fashion.
Her garments are made locally from entirely natural fabrications and are for the woman who wants a more considered wardrobe with fewer, but more beautiful and functional everyday-wear pieces.
As part of the Textile Trail, Kristin Magrit will be co-hosting her store with locally made soft furnishings brand Onyx & Smoke and will be selling her end-of-line dead stock fabrics, and giving away remnants suitable for home sewers and quilters to help shine a spotlight on the lesser publicised aspects of clothing waste – the off-cuts.
