Beyond the Bin – The Grove

Join WMRC for our interactive & engaging workshop on how to do better than the bin.

What will you learn?

  • How GREAT Sorts put 60% less waste in the landfill bin and how you can too.
  • Easy ways to go low-waste by reducing your resource use and reusing common items.
  • Where to take tricky items that don’t go into the three bins at home.
  • WA’s transition to a more circular economy and how to get involved.

Light refreshments and snacks are provided.

What to bring?
Attendees are invited to bring one clean waste item that they struggle to recycle.

Who can attend?
This is a great workshop for those who want to extend their waste knowledge, learn how to embrace the circular economy, and live a more sustainable life. Kids are welcome with an adult present.

Want to know more?
This workshop is part of the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle; The Ultimate Guide workshop series, running across the western suburbs in 2025. You can attend individual workshops, and if you complete all three you will receive a certificate of completion!

Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge, Nedlands, and residents from other councils. If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event, please call us on 9384 6711.
