Low Waste Christmas DIY Workshop in Claremont

Join WMRC & The Town of Claremont to learn how you can go low-waste this festive season🎁
At this event, you will hear a waste talk from WMRC’s Waste Education Officer and learn how to make your own coffee scrub & cleanser, the perfect low-waste gift! Please BYO jar for the coffee scrub🫙🎄
Date: Wednesday 3rd December
Time: 2pm – 3.30pm
Location: Bay View Community Centre, located at 64 Bay View Terrace, Claremont
Parking: There is street parking located along Bay View Terrace. Please allow enough time to find parking.
Alternatively, the library is a short walk from the train station.
Low-waste morning tea will be provided 🍰
How it will work:
- 2pm – 2.30pm: presentation by WMRC officers
- 2.30pm – 3.30pm: DIY coffee scrub & cleanser workshop

Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot make this event, please let us know in advance.
Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge, Nedlands and residents from other councils. If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event, please call on 9384 6711 and we are happy to assist.
