The WMRC has a thriving network of volunteers who generously share their time and expertise at waste events and school waste education days.
Our ‘Waste Watcher’ volunteers help the local community learn about correct waste sorting and practical low-waste behaviours. They play a vital role in engaging residents of all ages, answering questions, and making waste education approachable, positive and easy to understand.
In turn, the program provides our volunteers with opportunities to develop their skills, connect with like-minded people, and contribute meaningfully to local waste reduction and environmental outcomes.
We are not currently seeking new volunteers. Please check back later!
