Become a WMRC Volunteer!

Do you want to make a difference in waste and recycling in the western suburbs? Are you interested in socialising and learning from like-minded people? Would you like to learn more about managing waste wisely? Then join us as a WMRC volunteer! There are two main volunteer positions available:

Events Assistant: Help out at community events such as themed workshops, information stalls, and waste stations. Learn more about waste as you engage with the public to help them manage their waste wisely. Read the full position description here and then register your interest below.

School Education Assistant: Join us on our School Waste Education Days to help students from Years 1-6 learn about the 5 GREAT behaviours to manage waste responsibly. Volunteers are responsible for running activity stations for groups of students, engaging them in the activity, and answering all their waste questions. the full position description here and then register your interest below.
