The Great Global Mend – 7 November
The Great Global Mend is back for a second year. This nationwide event will bring people together to extend the life of their clothing and textiles by mending them at the exact same time – 11am on Saturday 7 November.

The ‘Clean up FOGO for good’ campaign aims to reduce contamination of FOGO processed at the WMRC by reinforcing the message that just three things go in FOGO – food scraps, garden waste and certified compostable caddy liners. The following tiles can be shared on social media. You may wish to link to our ‘What goes in FOGO’ page. Please tag WMRC when using these assets. If you would like additional materials (eg. animated graphics for digital signage, print materials) please contact the Comms & Ed team.
