Clean greenwaste refers to garden prunings that are free from rubbish and inorganic contaminants. Lawn clippings are not accepted.

Your greenwaste is a valuable commodity. Each year, approximately 5,000 tonnes of waste is recycled at the facility. The WMRC engages the services of a waste contractor to grind the greenwaste into mulch. The mulch is sent for re-use into the local horticulture industry.
